Crazy Driver

Here are a couple of videos we shot today of Charlotte driving her bus and a little walking. It's amazing how much more she has walked in the last few days.

A Sign of the Apocalypse

According to stuff.co.nz, as Ireland sees an increase of people immigrating into their country the demand for wine, spirits, cider and imported beer is increasing and the demand for Guinness is decreasing.

What the hell is going on here? Did France invade the homeland? This is a travesty... A friend of mind told me I should get over to the emerald island again before bud coors light and all the vineyards take over.

UGH, UGH YUCK!!! Wake up Ireland and taste your heritage...You can't let this happen.

I've been Snowed!!

And I bet you thought this was going to be another rant about Dubya...Wrong today!! I actually feel a little dirty today. You see a few weeks ago, I was very happy for Al Gore and how An Inconvenient Truth, rightfully won the Oscar for Best Documentary Feature. Although I still agree that global warming is being accelerated by humans and feel this movie brings out some important facts, I'm very annoyed at Al Gore and his "Do As I Say, Not As I Do" attitude.

According to MSNBC and other sources, Al Gore's monthly utility bill is over $2,500 for his 10,000 Sq. Ft. house. Yes, that's 10,000. And then his spokeswoman had the audacity to say the former vice president's invests in enough renewable energy to make up for the home's power consumption. Give me a break!!!

I agree with the movie, An Inconvenient Truth, but it irks me to see that the movie's spokesperson is not practicing what he preaches. The whole world needs to get behind this issue; But how are we supposed to do this when the spokesperson and "supporter" of this issue is wastefully consuming energy?

Does This Shock You?

I know I ranted about this before, but according to MSNBC a Justice Department Audit found that the FBI has misused the Patriot Act to obtain information on citizens. I'm totally shocked about this revelation ...Yeah right!!!

I guess my question to all the people who thought this Act was a good idea is: Did you actually think this wasn't going to happen? Are you fed up with this act yet?

Yep...We are supposedly going to war to rid the world of evil and to promote democracy, yet the government is taking more of our rights away here at home. Maybe my republican friends can explain to me why the patriot act is so patriotic because...I just don't get it!!!

Please Be Quiet Mr. Greenspan

I have the utmost respect for you and your monetary policy as Chairmen of the Federal Reserve from 1987 to 2006. You did a great job. But now that you are retired, it's time to ride off into the sunset with Andrea and golf the remaining days of your life. There is no need for you to give your opinion on where you think the economy is going...that only confuses investors and damages my deferred comp. for no reason.

Please let Ben Bernanke do his job. You did a very good job grooming Ben, so there is no need to get involved anymore.

Sincerely,

Aaron
