Back In The U.S.S.R

I know I have talked about this numerous times before, but this issue deems another rant. According to MSNBC, "A statement attached to postal legislation by President Bush last month may have opened the way for the government to open mail without a warrant". Of course, Dubya is saying this is nothing new. The Snowman states β€œAll this is saying is that there are provisions at law for β€” in exigent circumstances β€” for such inspections. It has been thus. This is not a change in law, this is not new.”

EXIGENT CIRCUMSTANCES!!!! Cummon...When are people going to get fed up with Dubya's crap? My next question is what does Dubya consider a exigent circumstance? My guess (and this is coming from 12 years of working for the state and listening to the FCC) is that they will never make a clear definition of "exigent circumstance" or their definition will be so broad that they can rip open your mail whenever they want.

It is absolutely gut wrenching how Dubya and his goons have convinced people that in order to be a "Patriot" of this great nation, you have to allow the government to take away your rights. Yep, the feds can now listen to your phone calls, read your e-mails, invade your privacy and read your mail... all without a warrant. Oh...and lets not forget that he tries to call people like me unamerican because I question his "Patriot Act".

Give Me a Break!!!
