Myrtle Beach...Here we come!!!

Every other summer since 2002, Chris & I have spent our summer vacation in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for some fun, sun and relaxation...and this year is no exception. The weather looks great next week, so I'm sure we will be spending a lot of time at the beach. I hope Charlotte enjoys the water a little bit better then in Maine....It will be about 20 degrees warmer. As for golf, it looks like I'm going to play 18 holes at Arrowhead Country Club. Don't worry...Chris will shop till she drops too.

Look for pictures of our trip when we get home on August 27th.

Scary Spencer

John Spencer has officially taken off the gloves in his fight for NYS Senator. According to his latest campaign ad, he says Hillary will leave us vulnerable against terrorist because she was against the patriot act.

Now I'm gonna be very careful about what I say about the current administration and the republican wackos who voted for this act...Remember, the "patriot act" allows the feds to listen to my phone calls, read my e-mails and invade my privacy...All without a warrant (Hi George). And then they have the audacity to call it the patriot act inferring that it is protecting our freedoms and anybody who is against it is weak or unamerican. Is it me or does this act remind you of communism? Amazing!!!

Charlotte's First Trip To Maine

Charlotte experienced her first trip to York Beach, Maine last weekend. The three of us went up to visit my parents at Camp Eaton for some sun, fun and relaxation. With the exception of a little rain Friday morning, the weather was perfect. Even the water was freakish warm on Sunday. All three days we spent at Long Sands beach. After the beach, it was back to the camp ground for dinner and then onto "Brown's Old Fashioned Ice Cream" for dessert.....mmmmm

My father, my uncle Larry and I started a new tradition this year....A Seafood Bonanza. We went out, bought some fresh haddock and Sword Fish, cooked it on the fire and enjoyed it with corn and potato salad...mmmmmm. Can't wait until next year.

Although we only stayed for 4 days, we all had a great time and it was great to see Charlotte on the beach and in the ocean for the first time. Next stop is Myrtle Beach...August 18th-27th. We can't wait. Here are some more pictures from Maine.

Yeah...the Ocean
Some people like to have a drink and sit by the ocean...I like to sit by the ocean and suck my feet.
I could do this everyday.
This sand stuff is weird.
The water is little to cold for me...I think I'll wait until Myrtle Beach in a few weeks.
