Ford Focus

There is something about this Ford Focus commercial that makes me laugh every time I see it. Maybe it's because I've been in this driver seat (no pun intended) before. Yes, we all like some music that we don't want people to know we like.

Although this is a great commercial, I still will never buy a Ford product.

Turkey Land

Halloween is next week, but it's starting to look a lot like Thanksgiving around here. Apparently a flock of turkeys have taken resident in the woods behind our house and they have been wandering into our backyard looking for food. Chris said at one point, 6 were perched on the swing set and 2 more on the ground.

Chris did a little research to figure out why they have suddenly appeared. Chris found that these guys love acorns and our backyard is full of them. When you walk in the back yard. it's like you are walking on gravel.

Free Beer & Hot Wings

Ever since ESPN Radio switched from 1300 AM to 104.5 FM, I haven't been able to listen to it at work because I'm unable to pick it up on my radio. With nothing to listen to in morning, I decided to try Free Beer & Hot Wings on Q103.

FBHW started at Q103 back in early 2006 when Howard Stern moved to satellite. I was a little apprehensive at first because being a big Stern fan, I always thought these guys were just a bunch of "Stern Wanna-bees". Well, needless to say, I was wrong. These guys are pretty funny. Their humor is very similar to mine and although they aren't "rolling on the floor laughing" like stern, they are consistently funny.

The Ultimate Light Bulb

Last night the boys of Mythbusters mentioned about the worlds longest burning light bulb at the Fire Station 6, 4550 East Ave., Livermore, California. The bulb has been burning for 106 years and counting. Wow...I bet the City of Schenectady, once know as the city that lights and hauls the world could get their hands on this thing. Thomass Eddison would have been so proud.

They even have a bulb cam on this thing...Impressive!!

She will even say typical words you hear on the golf course!!
