Lyrics Stir Thoughts Of A Gentle Giant
Chris gave me Bruce Springsteen & The E. Street Band newest CD, "Magic", for Christmas. I finally got around to listen to all the songs on the CD and as usual, they are all good. Since I considered Bruce Springsteen to be one of the better songwriters out there I like to really listen to his words and try to figure out what he is writing about. The last song on the CD, titled "Terry's Song", is obviously very personal in nature to Bruce as he sings about the recent death of a long time friend. While listening to this song, I couldn't help but think about my good friend, Mike Ford, who passed away back in 2002 after a long battle against leukemia. For those of you who knew Mike, I'm sure you will agree.
Here is the song.

Chimp-O-Matic
This quote just appeared on my Chimp-O-Matic...I just had to laugh. Yes, I can't stand the guy, but he provides so many opportunities to roll on the floor laughing. Enjoy!
I couldn't imagine somebody like Osama bin Laden understanding the joy of Hanukkah.

Bumper Stickers
I'm not a big fan of bumper stickers. In fact, I have never put one on any one of my 5 cars. But Chris bought me a sticker for Christmas and I made an exception.

Maeve's Trip Home
Well, we finally got home Monday, December 31. Because Chris ended up having a C-section, Chris and Maeve stayed an extra day at the hospital. Once we got home, The three of us layed low and relaxed until Charlotte came home from my Mom's where she had been since Friday. When Charlotte came home, Maeve gave her a new Ernie doll.
It was good to be home.
