My sister used the word "chunk" a few weeks ago to describe Maeve when she saw her for the first time in 3 weeks. Well, today at Maeve's 2 month check-up, the doc confirmed Laura's observation. Maeve is up to 12 pounds, 3oz and 22 inches long. Charlotte wasn't this heavy until 6 months. The Doc said Maeve was doing great!!
We spent the afternoon at G-Mom & Papa's house. It's always a fun day when you can spend the afternoon playing with G-Mom & Papa. To top it off, G-Mom made her famous stew...Mmmmmm.
I haven't figure out the mentality of the people out there who think they can tell landowners what they should and shouldn't do to with their land. Two examples of this are happening in City of Downey, CA and Niskayuna, NY.
In both cases, the landowners are law abiding and following all building zones/codes, yet a select few feel it's their right to take away the right of the landowners.
In my opinion, if you think the buildings are so special then why didn't you do your homework ahead of time. If you thought the buildings were so pristine, then why didn't you get a group of investors together a long time ago and buy the buildings so you could turn them into a shrine. My guess is these people wouldn't be able to find a investor and the purchase would then be required to use their own money to save the house...That's not fair.
February is the month of parties at the Hull House. As I mentioned before, Charlotte turned 2 on February 2 and Chris turned 34 on February 14th. Throw in Valentines Day on the 14th and you have a month that could wear out any credit card. On February 16th, my family came over to celebrate Charlotte turning 2. As always, we had a lot fun and a great time....Happy Birthday Chris & Charlotte. And Happy Valentines Day too.
Believe it or not, Charlotte turned 2 today. The last month has flown by with all that is going on. But I still can't believe that Charlotte is 2. IT'S GOING TOO FAST.
Anyway, today we mellowed out here at home with just the 4 of us. We went over to Fuddruckers for dinner and then back here for birthday cake (Chris made it). Another great day!!
Most people know that I have been a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan forever. It was enough to see Dallas go down in the first round of the playoffs, but to see them get beat by the Giants...Ugh!!! Well, I guess this even pissed off Hitler!!
