A Party In Shambles

It's official..Lewis “Scooter” Libby used his "Get Out of Jail" pass and walked home. Oh sure...Dubya had every right to do what he did today. But did he do the right thing...Absolutely not!!!. So let me get this straight:

- The president lies to the American People about going to war...A war that has resulted in the death of 3,584 U.S. men & women (and counting).

Result: Nothing happens to the President...No impeachment.

- When the Republicans were in control of congress, leadership knew congressmen were "taking advantage" of Pages (otherwise known as pedophile) and didn't do a damn thing about it.

Result: Nothing happens to leadership by fellow congressmen.

- Information about a CIA operative is "leaked" out because her husband is against your war policy. This leak puts many other operatives lives in danger. Libby takes the blame even though Dubya and Dickky are the ringleaders.

Result: Libby goes to jail for like a day, Dubya declares “I respect the jury’s verdict, But I have concluded that the prison sentence given to Mr. Libby is excessive. Therefore, I am commuting the portion of Mr. Libby’s sentence that required him to spend 30 months in prison.” and everybody is home in time for happy hour.

- Two consenting adults have sex and lie about it.

Result: The president is impeached.

Amazing!!! I wonder how many people died from the cigar? 30 months isn't "excessive" at all considering how many Americans the "leak" put in danger.
